About the Lodge
Wild Trak Lodge is situated at the entrance to Bardia National Park, it is a place where you can truly relax, get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, or refuel from your jungle and trekking adventures. Due to the close vicinity of the lodge to the National Park and careful landscaping the lodge grounds are abundant with wildlife. It has been designed with inspiration from local Tharu architecture and the rooms are luxuriously large with thick comfortable mattresses on the beds and large bathrooms. The rooms surround a large wildlife pond which attracts the wildlife and allows you to immerse into nature while you are relaxing at the lodge.
At Wild Trak Lodge we pride ourselves in making our guests feel welcome into a home from home. Offering a mixed menu of traditional Nepali food such as Dal Bhat and western style foods produced with locally sourced ingredients. We cater for all dietary requirements and with enough notice we can arrange to have specific foods served to you with a smile. You can relax in a hammock in our "hang out" zone, research wildlife with our reference library, enjoy company and tales of adventure at the bar, quiz the founder - a British Zoologist, on his knowledge of the natural world and of course go on a trip of a lifetime to remote and less visited parts of Nepal.
